Ordering

You can place an order online, via fax, via mail, or via telephone.

Online

Placing an order online is as easy as 1, 2, 3. First browse our online shop. When you see an item you want to order, just click on the it relative button that says "Add one to basket". At any time you would like to view what is already in your shopping cart, click the "View Cart" button on the top banner. In this "View Cart" page, you will also be able to change the quantity of a particular item or totally remove a product from your shopping cart. Once you are done with browsing and ordering, please click on the "Check Out" button, and you will be taken to the signing-in page where you will fill in the required shipping and payment details that will allow us to process your order. Returning Customers who had already registered on previous occasions will have most of their required filled pre-filled for them. For yet extra security, we do not maintain credit credit details online.

International Orders (Outside the U.S.A)

We do accept orders from Canada and Overseas from those countries listed or having PayPal payment facility. If our Merchant Account System is unable to confirm and link a credit card number to the billing address, we will kindly request that the customer pays for the order using PayPal. PayPal is a the most popular online payment system in the USA. Payees do not have to be or become members of PayPal to use their payment facility. Anyone with a Credit or Debit Card can use PayPal.

Credit Cards are charged when an order s ready to ship. Charges for Backordered and Special Order items will apply only when stock becomes available and is ready for shipping.

Orders paid by personal checks will be shipped after the check clears (5 days on average).

Return Policy

Lebanese Books Inc. guarantees your satisfaction and offers you returns on a "no question asked" basis on all purchases, within the time periods and conditions specified below:

Books:

1. All "Brand New" Books

These can be returned for full refund (less original shipping cost) within a 15 day period from the delivery date provided: The returned Book(s) is/are in the same "Brand New" original condition which would allow us to resell them as new. Audio books must be returned before breaking the factory-sealed carton. Lebanese Books Inc. will naturally assume the cost of return of any item shipped due to an error in processing a customer's order. Otherwise, the charges for the product return are not refunded.

2. All Antiquarian, Out of Print, and Used Books

These can be returned for full refund (less original shipping cost) within a 7 day period from the delivery date provided: The returned Book(s) is/are in the same "As purchased Condition" described in the original offering and supported by product picture(s). Whilst Lebanese Books Inc. endeavors to accurately list the state of each book, it will naturally assume the cost of return of any item shipped due to an error in processing a customer's order or if it failed to meet its offer description. DVD, VHS, Other Film Format

As in Brand New Books, DVDs, Video cassettes or other format films can also be returned for full refund (less original shipping cost) within a 14 day period from the delivery date provided: The original wrapping/Seal of the film cover/box has not been opened or tampered with. The condition of the returned item(s) would therefore allow us to resell the film as new. Defective items can only be exchanged for another copy of the same title. The new copy will be mailed to the customer upon the receipt and of the defective item at no further shipping charges. Lebanese Books Inc. will naturally assume the cost of return of any item shipped due to an error in processing a customer's order. Otherwise, the charges for the product return are not refunded.

CD or other Audio Format

As in Brand New Books and films, CDs or other audio format can also be returned for full refund (less original shipping cost) within a 15 day period from the delivery date provided: The original wrapping/Seal of the film cover/box has not been opened or tampered with. The condition of the returned item(s) would therefore allow us to resell the film as new.

Antique or Modern Prints / Postcards / Other

Prints, Postcards or any other item not listed above, can also be returned for full refund (less original shipping cost) within a period of 7 days from the date of receipt.

Return Procedure

Kindly E-mail us at Return@LebaneseBooks.com and let us know your name, contact details, order number and which item(s) you wish to return and specify the state they are in. We will e-mail you back within a maximum of 2 working days to provide you with a Return Authorization Number, and further details/reminders about the necessary procedures to follow.

Upon the receipt of your Return Authorization Number, please proceed to wrapping and boxing securely the item(s) being returned in order to avoid damage in transit. Please mark the outside of the package with "RETURN" along with Return Authorization Number.

Refund Procedure

Returns made to Lebanese Books Inc. will be refunded (less original shipping charges) in the form of the original payment method if this one was made using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or Paypal. Returns made to Lebanese Books Inc. will be refunded (less original shipping charges) via the issuance of a check when the original payment method was a Personal Check or Money Order. In this case, customers can expect to receive their checks during periods up to 14 days from the time of the returned items were received.
